Inquisition was founded back in Everquest 1, over the years we have worked hard to create and maintain a skilled, adult, relaxing community. Player quality rather then "leetness" is the focus which has kept Inquisition going strong and drama free. Stability has always been our defining characteristic, Inq has been run by the same two GM's since '99 without any break, change in structure or division.
When recruiting, we look for adult, skilled, selfless gamers not suffering from any social or mental disorder who have the ability to mesh into an already established, functioning group. We keep everything simple and straight forward.
Raiding/Grouping: As guild leaders and officers we make it a point to coordinate and make sure there is something to do almost every night of the week. Members who get the most out of Inq have the ability to occupy themselves effectively in the off hours to develop and advance their character. Players who sit around and do nothing while waiting for guild groups are a waste of space.
Contribution Every member needs to bring something of value to the guild. Whether it's your pvp skills, dedication to harvesting materials or ability to accumulate gold. Players looking for handouts or someone to hold their hand and nurse them along will not find what they are looking for in Inquisition. You get out what you put in.
We do not imposes a "tax" or weekly "quota" of any kind, however every member does contribute towards our current goals. If you don't have the desire or ability to farm and contribute gold and materials when needed there is no need to apply.
Play Time: We look for players who have enough play time to contribute to the guild.
We encourage our members to take care of RL responsibilities before they log in. However to accomplish anything, a guild needs dedicated players who have the availability to put in the time to grow the guild and keep the player base strong.
New Recruits: Every new recruit is given membership on a trial period. Attitude, playtime and skill are all taken into account.
Voice Chat: Inquisition uses Ventrilo, a third party voice communication system. We find it easier to be able to talk directly to members rather then type out commands in the heat of battle. All members are required to have this program as well as a working microphone.
